The Principal surveyor of Utchay Okorji Associates (UOA), holds a PhD in Estate Management from the University of Lagos, an M.Sc. in Real Estate from the University of Reading, United Kingdom, and a B.Tech in Estate Management from the Rivers State University. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), and the recipient of the �Best Professional Assessment Prize� of the Institution in the 2006/2007 Council year. He started his professional career with the firm of Ibimina Kakulu & Associates, Estate Surveyors and Valuers where he was in charge of valuation and project with brach network in Port Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos. Having started at a very young age, and have achieved a great level of success, he has been a source of inspiration for younger professional in the industry. This he has done through his lecturing experience since 2005 as alecturer at the Department of Estate Management, Rivers State University. His favorite quote is �We are thinking men and not mere habits of nature � Prof. Akujuru�. Dr. Utchay Okorji has over 20 years combined teaching, research and professional practice experience. Over the years, he contributes to the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers and the Estate Surveyors Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria in different committees spanning education, research, and advisory. Away from professional confines, Dr Utchay possesses great inter-personal skills and an impeccable relationship manager, this reflects in UOA business relationships. He loves his own in-house football, plays golf for fun and spends time with family.
